Africa's islands are worlds of their own. Madagascar is the only wild home of the lemur. Mauritius was once the only home of the dodo. Seychelles has the smallest population in Africa, the Comoros grow sweet-smelling ylang-ylang, Sao Tome and Principe grow cocoa, and Cape Verde gave the world the gentle morna songs of Cesaria Evora.
