Goal: Type a full passage of real text at a steady pace. Advice on writing, in good writing. Mind the quotation marks and the numbers.
A good paragraph has one main idea. Begin with a topic sentence that names it. Follow with two or three sentences that give reasons, examples or facts. Finish with a sentence that ties the idea together. Then start a new paragraph for the next idea, so the reader can follow your thinking.
