Goal: Type a full passage of real text at a steady pace. Practise question-and-answer notes. After typing, use the recall question to check the key idea.
Heading: Causes of soil erosion. Recall question: How can removing vegetation increase soil erosion? Answer: Roots help hold soil together, and ground cover reduces the impact of rain. Without that protection, water and wind can move exposed soil more easily. A heading names the topic; a question asks you to explain a relationship. Write the answer in your own words, then compare it with the original notes.
