Question: Why was my percentage answer wrong? Original work: increase / new total x 100. Correction: for a percentage increase, divide the increase by the original total, then multiply by 100. Example: from 50 to 60, the increase is 10, so (10 / 50) x 100 = 20%. Write the mistake and the correction together. The review card should remind you what to check when a similar question appears.
