A Practice Paper Plan · Apply
Goal: Type a full passage of real text at a steady pace. Type the plan, question checks and feedback notes carefully. Keep times, command words and priorities exact.
Practice paper: 60 minutes, 40 marks. Reserve 5 minutes to read and 5 minutes to review, leaving 50 minutes for answers. A starting guide is 50 / 40 = 1.25 minutes per mark. A 4-mark question would receive about 5 minutes. This is a planning estimate, not a rule: allow for different question types and any instructions on the paper. Check progress during the session and adjust if necessary.
