A school chooses to repair leaking taps before planting a new flower bed. Explain this choice by linking the action to its effect: repairing taps reduces wasted water and protects a resource the school uses every day. A flower bed may also be valuable, but it does not address the immediate leak. A strong explanation gives the reason for the decision, rather than simply repeating what the school did.
