Comparing Rainfall · Apply

Goal: Type a full passage of real text at a steady pace. Compare the figures, explain the pattern and separate what the data shows from what it cannot prove.

In a fictional weather table, Town A records 40 mm of rain in April, 65 mm in May and 55 mm in June. Town B records 30 mm, 45 mm and 75 mm over the same months. Town A's total is 160 mm; Town B's total is 150 mm. Town A receives more rain overall, although Town B has the wettest single month. A total and a maximum describe different features of the data.
