A School Travel Survey · Apply
Goal: Type a full passage of real text at a steady pace. Compare the figures, explain the pattern and separate what the data shows from what it cannot prove.
In a fictional survey of 80 pupils, 40 walk to school, 24 take a bus and 16 cycle. Walking accounts for 50%, buses for 30% and cycling for 20%. The percentages add to 100%, which is a useful check. These results describe the pupils surveyed. They do not tell us how every pupil in the county travels, because the sample covers only one school.
